WHAT WE OFFER
St. Andrew's Children's Place provides a developmentally appropriate, child-centered curriculum. Our dedicated and skilled teachers communicate God's love and Christian concepts throughout their daily activities. Our curriculum has been created in-house and is based on children's interests in learning with concepts from the Creative Curriculum, and The American Pediatrics Association. Teachers use thematic units to captivate children's imaginations and provide experiences and choices directed toward maximum growth of the total child. In addition to our main curriculum, we use Think Orange to support our teachers in sharing God's Word and Love and Handwriting Without Tears for our 3 and 4-year-old students to prepare for reading and math readiness.
School Day Program
Classes are held for our day school children from September - May from 9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. with options for 2, 3, or 5 days a week.
This day school option is only available for our one-year-old classrooms and older.
Summer sessions for day school children are also available on a weekly basis.
Summer Program
Summer sessions are available with varying curriculum themes encompassing art, music, science, literature, bible stories, crafts, and special events. Summer camp weeks have included visits from magicians, the nature center, planetarium domes, and monthly splash days.
