The Summer Institute is a not-for-profit educational enrichment program servicing disenfranchised students in Houston. The program has two major components. In the summer, students participate in six weeks of intensive, full day programming in math, science, language arts, and holistic spiritual and physical wellness. During the academic year, students participate in Saturday tutoring sessions that are meant to reinforce and push them past what they are learning in the classroom. Our students are highly motivated, eager learners and The Summer Institute aims to give these students the tools and resources they need to be successful.
