Presbyterian Children’s Homes and Services serves children ages birth to 17 who have suffered from neglect, abuse, and abandonment; or children whose families are experiencing some type of crisis such as death of a parent, divorce, illness, violence, homelessness, parental drug/alcohol abuse, and other issues that threaten family stability.
With faithful support from individuals, churches and foundations, we serve nearly 5,000 children and families across three states every year. As stewards of this trust and support, we follow these tenets of excellence to ensure families achieve self-sufficiency and children are placed into loving, permanent homes.
We provide Christ-centered care and support to children and families in need.
We are a faith-based Christian organization which strives to serve like Jesus. We meet our clients where they are and treat them with respect. We focus on our clients’ strengths rather than their prob...lems. And we encourage our clients to focus on their future rather than their past. When we do this well, we help children and families find hope and know the love of God.
Our philosophy of care is family centered, strength focused and goal driven. We incorporate these same values in our hiring, training, supervision, evaluation and business practices.
