Mayara Velasquez

Cello Instructor 

Mayara is a registered Suzuki cello teacher and performer in the Houston area. She currently serves as the vice-president of the Southeast Texas Suzuki Association. She is a cello instructor at the Kinkaid School, for the SOFA program at St. Andrews School, and she maintains a private studio. She also serves as a coach and adjudicator for the Houston Youth Symphony as well as being a guest clinician for several organizations in Houston, including the Mercury Educational Program, Parker Elementary School, Southeast Texas Suzuki Association (STXSA) and Musiqa. In addition, she is a Suzuki mom. She truly enjoys teaching music to both of her children.
