Bringing hope to Lebanon

Jeremy and Sara (Phillips) Boucher have served in Lebanon for the past 8 years with Kids Alive International at Dar El Awlad (DEA), which includes a literacy program for Syrian refugee children, an elementary school, day care and residential program for boys ages 5-18. All of the children at DEA are considered at-risk and receive an education, stability, loving house mothers, healthy and regular meals, and most importantly are introduced to Jesus Christ. The Boucher family lives on campus and as such the swirl of activity that is always afoot in community life with kids means they are in constant contact with those they serve. Jeremy is the head grade 6 teacher at DEA School teaching his favorite subject, math, and Sara works with the sponsorship program through photography and communications. Jeremy and Sara have four children, Thaddaeus, Chandler, Ella, and Abigail.
